Mel Laub (b. 1996) lives and paints in New York City, balancing her dual passions for art and medicine. As a physician assistant, she works in a world that demands precision. Yet, it is through painting that she explores a different aspect of herself: a more intuitive energy that allows her to process life’s fleeting, often indescribable moments.

Using luscious colors and a palette knife, Laub boldly captures experiences that words can’t convey.
